Rivvah had the best day yet at Newcastle Surf School lessons today. I can’t believe how quickly she is picking it up and how much fun she is having. (Of course didnt have any camaers with me today!)
I love seeing the kids excited faces when they catch a wave ride it in. Even when they are dumped by a wave they pop up smiling and laughing. The instructors are just awesome and very attentive. I see them giving instructions on how to do things a little better, big smiles and lots of hi fives!
The confidence growing in Rivvah not only in her skills surfing but just being more confident in herself. As you know she not shy but definitely lacks a little self confidence sometimes.
Love love love surfing lessons!

After the first lesson he could stand, after the second he was hooked for life! I especially appreciate that, even though the conditions at Nobbys were a bit average last week, the guys made sure all of the kids had fun and took the opportunity to teach them how to stay safe and deal with less than ideal conditions.

A great week at Newcastle Surf School, thank you to the coaches for their expertise and enthusiasm, what a dedicated team. My 8 year old son learnt new skills and surf safety.

Just like to say a huge thank you do your work on Saturday with the surfers for autism. Having two siblings both diagnosed with a form of autism, this is very special to me. The patience and enthusiasm your instructors showed towards not only the kids but the parents is amazing. I also volunteered on Saturday with Nobbys SLSC and honestly I cannot speak higher of you.
